The Hong Kong supplies have suffered from this cause, the price of the 1845 foolscap being 8/9 per ream and that of the 1887 supply of the same quality only 6/9 - It is, however, to be regretted that our Manufacturers have not discriminated between the Colonies which have asked for lower qualities and those which have not, and we trust that the instructions we have given them will prevent the recurrence of a similar mistake.
